Great question! Sometimes the stripper can run or drip onto the legs or lower sides of a piece of furniture. If you want to avoid that, you can use painter’s tape or painter’s plastic to block off those areas so the stripper doesn’t drip onto them. I bet it would work on finishes from 91. It has worked for me on modern finishes as well as vintage and antique finishes.]]></description>
