Yeah, we can totally see where you are coming from with this. Chippy paint is definitely not for everybody.

I mean, why go to the trouble cleaning, patching, sanding, priming, sanding, painting, sanding…just to have a piece that looks like the paint is falling off, and the piece needs to be refinished (painted!)? I have only tried milk paint once and i didn’t like it. Instead of chipping it had more of a crackle. I’m going to go back and read your milk paint tutorial because i love the look of milk paint.
